Representatives from Baron Law will share information on avoiding probate.

According to the AARP, the average cost of probate is between 5-10% of the total value of the estate. The minimum time to administer a probate estate is 6 months, and the average time is 14 months. Through this workshop, we will discuss the complexities of the probate court system. Moreover, attendees will learn various ways to avoid probate while also considering the basic estate planning tools. Light refreshments provided.

Attorney Dan A. Baron focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning and elder law. Mr. Baron is a member of the Ohio Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and Elder Counsel.

About the branch

Grassroots library service in Strongsville dates back to 1881, when 400 books were located in the Town Hall. More than 120 years later, the Strongsville Branch of CCPL is home to the Kathleen Cochrane DePiero Recording Studio where visitors can make their own tracks, green screen videos, podcasts or audiobook recordings for free.
