"Truman (Jim Carrey) doesn’t realize that his quaint hometown is a giant studio set run by a visionary producer/director/creator (Ed Harris), that folks living and working there are Hollywood actors, and even his incessantly bubbly wife is a contract player. Nominated for Best Supporting Actor (Ed Harris), Best Director and Best Screenplay at the Academy Awards. Winner of Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes."
