Cell phones might not have the best cameras for photography, but they are convenient, and there are best practices and settings you can use to dramatically improve your pictures.

A basic course exploring the advantages and limitations of the popular cell phone camera. This presentation is in two parts, the first half a primer on the technical aspects of the cell phone. The second portion deals with the aesthetic (artistic) aspects of image making including lighting, composition, post-production software, black and white conversions, and much more.
