From Bright Beginnings and Triple P Positive Parenting Program, this is the second in a series of two parenting workshops.
The program provides parents with the tools needed to navigate the complexities of parenting, during the school year and beyond, as well as boosts parents' confidence while helping increase the likelihood of positive outcomes in our children's educational journey.
Positive parenting leads to healthy brain development and school readiness!
In this session, parents are encouraged to share their experiences of aggressive and destructive behavior from their children and discuss some of the reasons children fight. This group covers the skills that children need to be able to cooperate and get along with others. Parents learn how to teach skills such as sharing, communicating, and being gentle. They also prepare plans to manage times when fighting and aggression do occur.
Prizes and giveaways for attendees!
The workshop is for adults only, although we do have childcare, if needed! Our children's librarian will have toys to play with in an adjacent room.
This workshop will be held in-person at the Brook Park Branch.
To register, visit the branch, call 216-267-5250, or click the link below.
The Brook Park Branch offers community meeting space and study rooms.
This branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location.
