To participate in these courses, you must have basic computer literacy skills and some experience using Microsoft programs.
Instruction will be provided at the Garfield Heights Branch Tech Lab over 7 sessions on Thursday mornings beginning January 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
It is important to be able to commit to the full seven-week series: Thursdays, January 8, 15, 22 and 29 and February 5, 12 and 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
An in-person exam will take place on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. in the Garfield Heights Branch Tech Lab.
Participants will be provided with a textbook, practice tests, and up to two vouchers to successfully pass the PowerPoint365 exam. (Participants can re-take the test 2 weeks after the initial test on March 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. in the Garfield Heights Branch Tech Lab)

The Garfield Heights Branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location. It also offers a green screen video recording studio and an audio recording studio where visitors can make videos and record CDs for personal or business use.
