Join us for a 6-week series of in-person instruction.

Discover Beginner American Sign Language (ASL)! This class is perfect for anyone interested in learning American Sign Language and exploring Deaf culture, as well as for those looking to refine their existing skills. 
 
This 6-week series is from April 15th  to May 20th  
 
Please only register if you plan on making all dates as space is limited and the material covered is cumulative. Registration is required.  
 
Josh is deaf and has a degree in teaching from CSU. He teaches American Sign Language in his spare time and has tutored American Sign Language at CSU for 5 years.

About the branch

Opened in 1924, the Berea Branch was the third branch to join the Cuyahoga County Public Library system. It was initially housed in City Hall from 1924-1939 and then a small storefront in 1957 before moving to a standalone building. The branch is located adjacent to beautiful Coe Lake Park.
