This two-night-per-week course covers the fundamentals of starting a business including developing your idea, conducting market research, obtaining a business license, basic marketing concepts, bookkeeping, and more. There will be an exam at the end of the class that will provide you with a U.S. Entrepreneurship Certification credential, which can be helpful if you are planning to seek funding for your business idea in the form of grants and/or loans.
You may attend online (via Zoom) or in-person. The class is taught on Mondays at the Parma Powers Branch, located at 6996 Powers Blvd., Parma and on Tuesdays at the Maple Heights Branch, located at 5225 Library Lane, Maple Heights. This is so we can offer an in-person option on both the west and east side of town.
