Join Maria Perme, a movement and meditation facilitator, for an hour of deep relaxation. Yoga nidra is akin to diving into deep awareness or the ultimate power nap of deep healing and profound restoration.
Nidra (also known as yogic sleep) is a powerful practice for inducing your body's relaxation response. It can be as restorative as sleep while you remain fully conscious.
During this class, you will lie on the floor for the practice. You will need a yoga mat; a blanket is suggested to stay warm. You will cultivate conscious relaxation, ease ongoing stress and anxiety, and feel your body melt away into a soothing state of being. Sound healing adds to the relaxation experience.
No yoga experience is necessary.
