Most people in Northeast Ohio know the term Western Reserve, but how many people really know what it means? In partnership with the Strongsville Branch Library and the Strongsville Historical Society, the Western Reserve Historical Society’s Cleveland History Center (Speaker TBD) will discuss the fascinating history of the region and present some of the rarest treasures in the Western Reserve Historical Society's collection. This presentation is part of the Strongsville Historical Society’s commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American independence.

Grassroots library service in Strongsville dates back to 1881, when 400 books were located in the Town Hall. More than 120 years later, the Strongsville Branch of CCPL is home to the Kathleen Cochrane DePiero Recording Studio where visitors can make their own tracks, green screen videos, podcasts or audiobook recordings for free.
